Hey, everyone! Quick patch that I think you'll all enjoy!

1.2 Changelog:
  • Added unique items that drop if you kill a boss without taking damage
  • Added more secrets!
  • Rebalanced a lot of enemies- the difficulty curve was out of control.
  • Added new items
  • Bugfixes!
 
Alpha 1.1 Changelog:
  • Fixed a bug where bosses could fly through doors
  • Fixed the crit system, and increased the power of crit increasing items
  • Capped off the health the nega stone could give

EDIT: Alpha 1.1.1 Changelog, IMPORTANT!!
  • Removed crit dice that were accidentally left in the first room
  • Fixed the first room not being dependent on seed

Well, you guys asked for some changes, and they were made!!

0.9.3 Changelog:
  • The Earth Stone will no longer provide magic/lifesteal with kills
  • The Light Stone now heals 4 HP instead of 3
  • Player is now invincible while standing in doorways
  • Spawn clouds will not turn into enemies if they are touching the player (This should clear up a lot of frustration!!)
  • Souleaters and Magiceaters were glitched- they're fixed now
  • Fixed a hilarious glitch that occured when the player collected two hourglasses
  • Made skeletons telegraph their attacks
  • Made the mana cost for magic items written in blue, to help new players better understand the mechanic
EDIT:
  • WHOOPS I forgot to make the game start at level one again.

You guys are fast! Since I released 0.9 earlier today, several people already beat the game! I've made sure that won't happen without more practice.

0.9.1 Changelog:
  • Rebalanced late- game enemies to be harder
  • Fixed a bug where the treasure chest dropped 10x the treasure it was supposed to
  • Fixed various bugs that occurred when you win the game
 
I spent the last week working on this huge patch! Hope you guys enjoy it! I've added a bunch more content, as well as spruced up the visuals a bit. The theme of this update is elemental stones! There are 5 of them with varying rarities. Each one is a magic item with a unique effect!
Alpha 0.9 Changelog:
  • Added 15+ New items, bringing the game to a total of 75+ unique items!
  • Added lighting effects (Not dynamic- yet!!)
  • Added particle effects for basically everything
  • Added sound effects for killing enemies
  • Added 4 new cheat codes
  • Title screen now has a logo
  • Misc. balance changes- blue floors are a bit harder and red floors are a bit more fair
  • Added more familiar items and created a code that makes them orbit around you more uniformly
  • Changed the heart drop system so that you need to be at full health when you beat the "boss" room to get a silver heart, instead of needing to take no damage on the entire floor
  • New track- "Laughter" by CarbonTheif
  • Misc. Bugfixes

It may not be a huge changelog but I made some pretty major changes fixing bugs and making the later floors more challenging. Beating the game now will be more of a challenge!

  • Made it so that if you don't take ANY damage on the floors that drop hearts, you receive a silver heart instead of a normal one
